In early 2011, store owners Mitchell and Lauren, saw an exciting opportunity to change the floor-covering experience in Mackay by purchasing Choices Flooring. The store is proudly locally owned and operated with both Mitchell & Lauren in the Showroom or on-site every day.
At Choices Flooring Mackay, we want for our customers what we would want for ourselves - a fantastic customer experience with a product offering to match. We put a lot of ourselves into what we do, and work hard to create something that we can be proud of.

You might not describe our journey to flooring as a natural one, though we love it and give it everything we have. Often, we are our own biggest competition by constantly working to push the boundaries and improve upon the products and services we deliver.
Mitchell Pollock
Mitchell wears many hats, though day to day he specialises in Commercial Flooring. Mitchell’s passion lies in growing his business and continuing to deliver our commercial offering with integrity. Mitchell’s other passions are the Collingwood Football Club and the NBA.
Lauren Pollock
Lauren has an eye for design and all things flooring. Lauren has a focus on curating a great selection of products and ensuring our Showroom reflects current designs and interior styles. In Lauren’s spare time she loves spending time with her adorable dog Lenny and planning (daydreaming...) her dream home.
Sharon
Sharon has been working in the flooring industry for over 15 years and brings with her a wealth of product knowledge and experience. Sharon specialises in interior selections and has a talent for guiding homeowners through the process of making their flooring choices. Sharon’s regular customers will attest to the level of care and dedication she brings to every project. Sharon’s weekends normally involve watching the Cowboys take the field.
Kylie
Kylie has a background in home building having spent several years assisting homeowners with the building process. Kylie also has a love of interiors and has pursued this passion with a Diploma in Interior Design. She loves helping people design beautiful spaces and bring their ideas to life.
Outside of work, Kylie enjoys spending time with her three gorgeous girls and playing netball.
Joe
Joe is our Warehouse Manager and all-round co-ordinator of our daily installations. With over 17+ years’ experience he keeps everything running smoothly. When he’s not at work Joe loves his footy and his beloved (long-suffering) Canberra Raiders.
